Ashlie Shea
Owner/Wedding Planner and Designer
Weddings in The City is one of Central Florida’s most trusted and respected planning & coordination teams. Owner, Ashlie Shea has built her business on the solid foundation of truly knowing and understanding the wedding planning & design process. Ashlie has been in the wedding & events industry for more than half her life time. Raised in a family with a floral business and being a third generation “Floral & Decor” business owner. After working with her mother to build a successful floral business, Ashlie quickly realized her love for the wedding industry and passion for working with couples to plan their Wedding Day. Ashlie also realized what a need there was for couples to have guidance through the planning process and decided to create a coordination company catering the needs of the “Every Day” bride & groom. Together with her mother she created “Atmospheres” in 2005. Ashlie made the business decision to break away from floral and concentrate on her true passion, planning and design – and founded Weddings in the City in 2008. Ashlie was born and raised right here in Central Florida! She comes from a large family with five siblings so family life keeps her busy. Rachel has been in the wedding and event industry for over five years. She has been a part of The Wedding in the City team for three years. She has a bachelors in business from UCF and a certified bridal consultant from The Association of Bridal Consultants. Ever since she was a teenager she loved planning events and parties. When her sister was getting married Rachel quickly realized planning weddings was her calling and she had personality and skills needed by brides. Rachel loves organizing and coordinating for her brides. Rachel was born and raised in Oviedo, Florida. She comes from a very closeknit family. She is married and has two sons. Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends when she is not planning and coordinating weddings. She loves to stay busy and is extremely involved in her community.
